Are the 'stone men' you are referring to Inuit 'Inukshuk'???
These are awesome and you see loads of minature ones here too although the originals are and were made by the inuit as stone markers to show the way in the bleak and barren landscapes of the area and they were/are lifesize too.
I have been looking into building a small one in our front garden this summer- just love them.
Well done- keep them up- can't wait for the next one x
