Great stuff guys!!

After hearing Matts 'bad' attempt at saying the Nova Scotian/ Canadian 'about' I vote you see who can do the most effective Canadian accent next week....I'll send mine in too (can't do it either!)

Hope you got the photo of the plane for your work colleague Zoe Matt!

More 'Farmer AJ' impressions I say too :D

I have a nice photo of Concorde. It was taken going over our house - few years ago now and in better weather.

Don't think she will be convinced though.

What do you mean "bad" Canadian accent?

You tried to say 'about' the Canadian way which is 'aboot' but it came out Scottish (I do the same)

I'm gonna study trailer park boys and try and learn a Nova Scotian accent

Please, please, please can we hear you and AJ trying to speak in a Canadian accent in the next show!!!

Now- I've just called my daughters boyfriend over to say 'about'.....he said it the English way first and then said 'aboot' and sounded Scottish too- he can't even do it but he does have an 'Old Lunenburg' accent he told me.....

At Sat Mar 11, 05:35:00 PM AST, Matthew Guy said...

Yes, of course I was using the "Old Lunenberg" inflexion too.

I've been practising my Canadian accent (but why are my children falling about laughing?)

Are you going to do Canadian accents on your show?

If so what sentence will you be using?? xx

I am not sure if we have practiced Canadian enough to go public yet - do you have a phrase in mind?

Nova Scotia is hot in the summer & awesome in the fall and when its snows you can get out & about on your skidoo.

??

Maybe you can think of something better Matt!!! :D

Well that's a scary mouthful in any language.

I think we may need a week to practice this! May be one for unlucky 13!

Look forward to hearing your 'Canadian accents' on number 13 :D :D

Now Matt- tell me how to go about uploading video...

I now have a PCMIA (is that the word) card now so should be able to connect vid cam to lap top and I have the editing software to take it off etc....where do you go from there?
