Decisions, decisions
Slightly stressed by the weighty decisions we are going to have to make.
Seen a house we really like but with the work needed on it, it will stretch our budget and may mean living on gruel and putting other things on hold for a while... decisions.. decisions.
Think we need to sleep on it and see more properties tomorrow.

For my two pennies worth and with sensible head on I'd see as many homes as you can, stick within your budget and try and buy something that needs litle doing to it immediately unless of course you see a lovely place dirt cheap so have the extra funds to do the repairs without going over budget...
When we bought our first house in NS we went slightly over budget but it was in great condition and although there were things we didn't like such as the carpets, we knew we could live with these for a few years so not to spend any money...as it happened we didn't spend any money on te house but spent a LOT more on life than we anticipated!!

Yes, it is a big decision, but go with your heart and if it feels right, do it! Remember too, that it's really OK to offer 10s of thousands below the asking price.
