IN CANADA
Would you believe it.. we are in Canada.. finally.. through immigration, got a car (thank you Avis - no thanks to Thrifty and BIG thanks to Carolyn).
Need to sort out lots to do with the house, starting tomorrow with a meeting with a lawyer. Tonight we are staying near Halifax as we weren't sure how long all the bureaucracy would take - but it was quick.
Not sure where we are staying until the house is ready - somewhere cheap and cheerful in the valley :)
We will podcast this weekend.. from Nova Scotia again.. whoopie!

Great to see another "cheer-up" site on the web. Carolyns site (among others) is visited every time work is kicking the life out of me... which has been more often than not over the last 5-6 years sadly.
It's fantastic to see another family making the move. Maybe one day (11 years from now, more on "The Plan" another time) we'll be sending you and Carolyn an email saying "IN CANADA"!
