Well, the money transferred more quickly, so we have the keys for the house and about to move in. That is the end of our cabin experience and its fast broadband.. but at least we are going to be in our home.
It felt great when Chris, our Real Estate agent left us there... really great.

Congratulations! And how exciting!
Now the hard work starts :-)
Hey great news. Enjoy.
Take lots of 'before' 'during' and 'after' pictures!
Make one room calm and beautiful and functional soon so that you can get away from the chaos of the renovations.
Drink lots of water!

Thank you all :)
We have had to do LOTS of cleaning.
The place had been empty for a year and all the baths and toilet's were badly stained from drips of rusty water when the well has been turned on and off. We have upset all the spiders in the place by sweeping up all the dead bugs and removing the cobwebs!
It's starting to be more homely and today we even got a fridge. It is small by North American standards but its still larger than our whole house in England :)
Tomorrow we get a cooker so we can have proper food!
And now we have a phone and the internet too... if only at dialup speeds - but still.
Lots to do but it feels like home.
I think we have planned projects in our minds which would take us the rest of our lives if we did them all.
Hopefully podcast from here at the weekend and upload from Annapolis library when we get a chance.
