Well, I am for sure going to miss your podcasting, but I can also understand what a burden it can be to have to do this every week.
AJ..you sound so relaxed and in tune with your plants and garden etc and it has been really great to witness the transformation. You have truly bloomed in the time that you have been living there and I have heard it. I have thoroughly enjoyed your descriptions of plants and your nursery job and the course. Although you say that you feel like you are repeating yourself every week, in fact, you talk about different aspects of gardening every time. As well, you have been A LOT more chatty in the last couple of months. Its like you became more comfortable with sharing your life with the world.
Matt, I am so thankful to hear all your tales of the road to employment, the hopes and fears of life in a new place. I'm also glad to hear the talk about your jobs and how good you feel about the people there and how welcoming they have been. Your talk about the challenges has been very educational and has given us a 'heads up' about things to think of with a move like yours.
I have really appreciated both of you and your willingness to share this journey with me and with others. Your stories are proof that life is full of surprises and adventures...we have only to take that step and initiative to intentionally place ourselves in the postion to receive.
Your podcast has helped to spur me on to our dream of moving there too. I will let you know our progress and keep you posted.
Thanks again for the podcast......please post some photos of your land and gardens as things grow. I would love to see the transformation.
Speak to you later!

I too am sad that there will be less podcasts. I have really grown fond of hearing your weekly updates.

But I do understand how time-consuming podcasting is. I'm very sporadic at best, just podcasting when I feel inspired.

I wish you all the best and I have subscribed via Google Reader to follow your text/photo posts!

Cheers

Nik

I can't agree more with Flora and everything she said!

I also will miss your weekly podcast, but you described so well how much more stressfree your downshifted life is and podcasting (and blogging) should always be something you want to do and not something you feel you have to do, so I understand very well that you are also downshifting on that area... ;-)

Thanks for sharing so much with us, hope to read/listen to you soon
and take care!
