Where in NS are you located? I just moved here with my husband and kids.

We've been trying to get all our friends to move here!

We are in Annapolis County, near Bridgetown.

I know what you mean - we try to get friends and family to walk slowly past Realtor's windows to find some nice property for them :)

We're just East of Bridgetown, just past the Tim Horton's. You can see our house from the main highway.

I actually had a friend of mine from Ottawa email me the other day asking me more detailed questions about the area. She's trying to convince her husband to make the move here. Maybe I should add a "how to move to Bridgetown" page to my blog!

We are the same side as you but on the "back road" - down in West Paradise.

I get emails from many people thinking of moving here due to a few pages on my personal website such as:

A practical guide to moving to the valley is a good idea - perhaps we should co-operate and produce one.

Sounds like a plan.

I noticed on your blog that you said you missed stuff like Branston pickle. Funnily enough I have a jar in my pantry. Last year I made a gift basket of UK goodies for my husband for Christmas. There's a place in Canada that sells all that stuff online. I cannot think of the name of it though. If I come across the link, I'll send it to you.
